This dataset describes the open pit burning of garbage such as agricultural residues, dung and forest residues. It considers the relevant emissions to the environment caused by open and quasi- open burning. Open burning plays a significant role in the total emissions of particulate matter and trace gases. The emissions in this dataset are based on the values given in [S. K. Akagi et al]. In this literature, different new studies using atmospheric models of open burning are summarized. By using parameters such as chemical composition of incineration good, ambient conditions, combustion efficiency etc., emissions and their diffusion in the atmosphere can be estimated. Measurements of emissions from open burning are rarely undertaken. The atmospheric models are an estimation, the exact emission spectrum and it`s behavior in the atmosphere is hard to predict. One major reason is that the chemical waste composition of the incineration good can vary dramatically. Further, quasi- open burning can lead to another emission spectrum than fully open burning as varying air supply or local thermal insulation influence the emission spectrum.Biomass waste removal by open burning.Unit process, single operationAttributionalNoneNot applicableForeground system: For the foreground system, no allocation was applied.
